Origin Story

I'm a tax professional with just about 18 years of experience, fighting with "professional" tax software (as of Spring 2026). Every tax season, there's a new frustration, and it needs an outlet, so here we are.

To be fair, things have gotten better over the years. Inexplicable errors are less common, but delays continue, and the method of working with our software companies to pursue solutions remains dated and frustrating.
